Celita’s name means “Slice of Heaven” and she is exactly that for everyone she serves at Awakening with Equines. She is an OTTB, winning a few races and then becoming a broodmare, but like many Thoroughbreds, she had a bigger dream of partnering with humans in a more balanced and loving way.

Just being and breathing with her is like a short visit to heaven and provides much-needed rejuvenation in such a chaotic world. She was also heaven-sent as she is almost an exact twin of my mare Lindsey who passed in 2017.

Celita is a master healer, energy worker, and teacher for her clients and myself and has served hundreds of clients over several years at her home near Boulder, Colorado. She will leave her friends, food, and large pasture to come in whenever she sees a client because she is so service-based.

Her clients range from teams practicing mindfulness to kids learning emotional intelligence and many overwhelmed women who need a reboot through the power of her heart which is five times the size of ours.

Celita loves to touch people just where they hurt and need healing, meditate, and stand peacefully to be groomed. People are in awe of her every time they meet her because of her unconditionally loving and giving nature. —Kate N.
