a woman pets therapy horse Splash
Splash brings comfort to those around her.

She intuitively knows what to do and how to be there for her person. She has stood patiently outside of a car for 45 minutes with her head in the window while an older woman gently caressed her face and softly spoke to her as one of her last requests. The woman left with a smile on her face and passed peacefully the next day.

She is our go-to horse when we get requests from families wishing to fulfill the wish of a family member or friend to have a horse hug or just be with a horse one last time. Splash is a favorite of many of our special needs riders, patiently waiting as they are mounted from a ramp or adjusting to their needs.

She is keenly aware of their movements and balance and takes very good care of her rider. She loves her job and everyone loves her.
